This is a 1 meter male / female drop cable or backbone cable.

Drop cables are most commonally used to connect a NMEA device to a nearby backbone fitting.
This white cable allows you to connect to the backbone using the same thread as is found on your device.
So if it is a male connector on your device, the female on the drop cable will mate with that, leaving a male connector to connect onto the backbone.
