Smiths - Lucas style inline Amps meter Black

This is a Smiths - Lucas style in line Ammeter. So this will show you the amps running through any wire that you choose.

You must make sure that the Amps in the wire will never be more than 60 Amps +- and that the wire will stand that kind of load.

So this is a standard 2 inch 52mm gauge with a black powder coated bezel and a glass lense IP67 waterproof.

The wiring is very simple:

On the rear there are two 5mm brass poles. You need to cut into the wire that you are going to monitor. Add two 5mm ring connectors and add one to each pole.

The gauge is fixed using the insulated 'U' clamp supplied.

There are two 12v wires for the backlight.

These gauges are very useful in boats and campervans for measuring the draw of things like inverters.
