NMEA 2000 male terminator.
Every NMEA 2000 backbone MUST have both a male and female terminatior also called a end stop.
As that would suggest there must be one at each end. Male at one end femail at the other. If either of these fails to work the whole network will go down.
All boaters should have a set of these as part of their spair parts kit.
